I like to experiment various mediums. I mostly paint oil, but I also do watercolor, pastel and acrylic. My skills is continously improving by taking lessons and workshops with well known artists.
For me, painting is freedom, it is a daily passion. I am fascinated by the effects of lights , shadows and forms, how it enhances and makes the paintings more lively. In addition to paint on canvas, I love painting on glass (oil), i.e., on wine glasses, on sweetmeat boxes, on flower vases, etc.... any piece where I can add my personal touch.
I am in a constant research for new subjects, I have this need to know everything that concern art, how it is done etc... I like travelling and I take lots of pictures that I use afterward in my workroom. I visit plenty of exhibitions and museums. I participate to many symposiums, share my ideas with other artists. I like to listen people's comments on paintings, this makes me see them in a different way. I participated in many exhibitions and crafts salons.
I won many prizes and mention. I have painting all over the world like: North Corea, in France, at Yellowknife, Vancouver, Alberta etc...
I discovered medium mixte sculptures, I took courses, but that was not enough, I had to know everything about it. To do so, I had to take courses to become a teacher.
And than, I met a teacher who does figurines in clay. It did fascinated me, so I asked him if he had any places in his courses and there I go again, I discovered my new heartbeat.
